The fact that youre looking at this site means you have already made a great decision: choosing LSE! Were sure youve heard it all before, but LSE really is an amazing place to be. Our students hail from more countries than are represented at the UN and come together with world renowned academics right in the centre of an exciting global metropolis: London! Such a varied and diverse community means we have more societies and clubs per student than pretty much anywhere else; theres just so much to do!

Our Orientation Festival aims to showcase the very best of LSE and its active student body. Our strength is in our diversity: one night you could be smoking sheesha with the Arabic Society, another you could be dancing the night away at our Friday club night Crush. Either way, youre going to meet people you could never meet anywhere else.

Keep checking the site for updates, as we will be showcasing the work of some of the acts we have performing, finalizing the details of the films we are showing, and much more! Closer to the week you will also be able to buy tickets online to many of our events, so book online to avoid disappointment.

All that is left to say is get involved in as many activities as you possibly can, enjoy the events that we have put on, and make sure you drop by the Sabbatical Office in The Quad when you arrive to say hello! Make sure you try as much as you can handle to ensure that you find your ardent interests, and the people to share them with over the coming year.
